Unique photo restoration service coming to Whitianga

The Mercury Bay Informer 13th May 2014

A unique and very effective photo restoration service will the next few weeks be available in Whitianga for those who would like to have their old photos restored and converted to digital images.

Ian Handricks, the developer of Photopages photo restoration service, will be available at The Informer’s offices in Whitianga from 10:00am - 3:00pm daily. Simply pop in with your old photos and leave it to Ian to do the rest. There is no fixed charge for this service, although a donation will be appreciated, part of which will be donated to a local charity of Ian’s choice.

Ian took Photopages to the United Kingdom in 1999 and concluded a landmark sales and distribution agreement with a United States company in 2002. As a result, major American business like Walmart and Best Buy started to use Photopages exclusively for their customers’ restoration requirements. Photopages was later sold to PhotoWonder, today the largest photo restoration business in the world with computer restoration centres in China and India.

Ian is a true genius when it comes all matters technology and will also be happy to meet with anyone interested to learn more about the Apple iPad. Once again, a donation will be appreciated, part of which will go to charity. The Informer is proud to host Ian during his time in Whitianga.
